The Volunteer Center of North Texas is comprised of a staff with a passion for promoting the cause of volunteerism in North Texas. Through our various programs and services, staff influence the lives of all they come into contact with, from nonprofit agencies and corporate volunteer groups to individual volunteers.

Do you have a passion for the community? Would you like to help a local nonprofit organization? Do you have a heart for service? If so, we have the opportunity for you! The Volunteer Center of North Texas is seeking project coordinators to assist with our 2nd Annual North Texas Volunteer Challenge from 8 a.m. – Noon on Saturday, October 23, 2010. You will be responsible for assisting a project manager at one of more than 30 project sites throughout North Texas as we encourage the region to make a difference by lending their helping hands to organizations who need them! Young professionals, stay-at-home moms, business leaders, and more are all welcome; no experience needed. If you are interested, e-mail Ashley E. Coordinators must be at least 16 years of age, and express an interest in serving in this role by Friday, September 10.

Part-Time Cashier/Stocker for Donated Goods Warehouse (Fort Worth)

The Cashier/Stocker is responsible for merchandising, stocking shelves, customer interface, and operating a cash register. Other duties may include cleaning, organizing, and working with volunteers. The ideal candidate must have exceptional communication, customer service, and people skills with the ability to multitask. Additionally, they must be able to lift 25 lbs., and pass a criminal background check. Hours are 25 to 32 per week, Monday – Wednesday and an occasional Thursday or Friday. Volunteer Opportunities at the VCNT

Team Leaders
Volunteers are needed to assist with event management, day of service logistics, and volunteer management for various community service projects hosted by the Volunteer Center of North Texas. Individuals interested in serving as team leaders should have great interpersonal skills, excel at time management and have a passion for volunteerism. Receptionist
Volunteer receptionist position available at the Volunteer Center of North Texas. Welcome and greet the city’s finest volunteers and North Texas’ highly regarded nonprofit agencies! Volunteer needs will be Monday and Wednesday, 9 to Noon and 1 to 5 pm (choice of schedule). Light data entry, great customer service people skills.
