Fluor Employees Make a Difference for families in Irving!

More than 50 Fluor employees and their family members joined hands to build a playground structure, plant flowers and shrubs, wash school vans, paint walls, and organize classrooms at Kim’s Stepping Stone Learning Center. The facility is a nonprofit child care center that serves families and children of teen mothers from Irving ISD.

Kim’s Stepping Stone Learning Center has been a part of the Irving community for more than 18 years, caring for children between the ages of six-weeks to 12 years-old. Fluor Corporation, based in Irving, seeks to make a difference in their community. An important philanthropic and community engagement category for the corporation is children and youth.

Partnering with the Volunteer Center of North Texas (VCNT) to impact an Irving-based nonprofit organization is another demonstration of Fluor’s commitment to help improve the community.
