The 6th Annual Hearts of Texas Awards Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. The event will take place at the new Omni Dallas Hotel and will honor Nancy Strauss Halbreich and Janie Strauss McGarr, daughters of VCNT co-founder and former Dallas Mayor Annette Strauss. Under the leadership of event Honorary Chair, Ruth Altshuler, and Chair, Jeanne Whitman Bobbitt, the event will feature a three-course lunch and will include a variety of celebratory activities.

Luncheon Program: 11:45 a.m. – 1:15: pm.

About the Hearts of Texas Awards Luncheon

The Hearts of Texas Awards Luncheon was established in 2007 and is the signature event for the Volunteer Center. The event recognizes individuals in the North Texas area who have dedicated themselves to impact the community through the donation of their time, talent and resources. The event raises funds to support the programs and services the VCNT provides to more than 1,700 nonprofit organizations throughout North Texas.
