The North Texas Volunteer Challenge is an annual four-hour day of service to “lend a helping hand” to nonprofit organizations throughout North Texas!
The North Texas Volunteer Challenge (NTVC) was a great success with more than 202 individuals participating to give 12 nonprofit organizations, new face lifts with coats of paint, trash and brush clean up, landscaping, and volunteers as carnival and senior helpers.
We wish to thank the businesses and corporations below for their support of the NTVC “Day of Service” event:
- Collin County: Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Legacy Bank, Medical Center of Plano
- Dallas County: Guaranty Bank, Salmon Sims & Thomas, Texas Instruments
- Tarrant County: Alcon Laboratories, Aetna Insurance, Hilton Arlington, Johnson Controls
We would also like to extend our appreciation to their employees, family members and individuals who volunteered their personal time in 100 degree weather to “lend their helping hands” to impact the lives of many.
Thank you to our Agencies for opening their homes to more than 200 volunteers: Camp Fire, Collin County Adult Clinic, Dayspring Assisted Living, Equest, Fordham Road Neighborhood, Heritage Farmstead, Jubilee Park, Mid-Cities Care Corps, Singing Hills Neighborhood, Texas Discover Gardens, VCNT’s Donated Goods.
A final thank you to five major sponsors of the event that helped this event possible: Tom Thumb, Business Press – Fort Worth and Collin County, Quick, American Airlines, and Srikz Entertainment.
